Cracked Rear View: How You Can Stop Tracking What Happened in Your Market and Start Predicting What WILL Happen »

Print friendly

Speaker Duncan Stuart, Director, Kudos Organisational Dynamics Ltd

Cracked Rear View: How You Can Stop Tracking What Happened in Your Market and Start Predicting What WILL HappenMarketers in New Zealand spend millions of dollars from their limited budgets to ask what the market did – instead of asking the real question: what will the market do next?

In a lively, entertaining presentation, Duncan Stuart shows three quite distinct methods for predicting where your market is heading and for modelling the likely shape of your marketplace. This isn’t about crystal ball gazing. This is about getting a realistic edge over your competitors - especially those who insist on staying in the world of "old groove research".

Come along prepared to have your outlook challenged!

Duncan Stuart is a senior researcher and director of the boutique market research agency, Kudos Organisational Dynamics, which has been running Cool Tracking research in the youth market over the past three years. As part of this, Kudos specialises in predictive and trend research.

Duncan is also a pretty good public speaker, having won Best Paper at the 1995, 1997, 1999 and 2001 Market Research Society conferences and People's Choice in 1999 and 2001. He is currently one of the judges for the 2002 Marketing Awards.
