Future Proof: How to Avoid Becoming a Marketing Dinosaur »

Print friendly

Speaker Steve Bridges, Bridges Marketing Consultancy

Now, more than ever before, the only constant is change! And this will only accelerate in the years to come. We're constantly told that what we learned yesterday and what works today will be obsolete tomorrow. So how do we as marketers cope in the years ahead? How do we avoid becoming marketing dinosaurs?

Don't miss this chance to hear firsthand from one of NZ's outstanding marketers - a man who's been consistently successful in the marketing profession, in the face of incredible changes, for over a third of a century. A man who's achieved a rare 'double' - the respect of both the corporate and academic worlds - and who Management magazine said has the potential to ascend to guru status (many believe he's already done so!).

In 1966, Steve Bridges gained an MBA with a marketing major from Indiana University. In the early 70's, he taught the first marketing course in NZ at Victoria University and went on to become Professor of Marketing at Massey University. In the late 80's / early 90's, Steve taught the marketing course on Auckland University's Executive MBA degree and Diploma in Business (Marketing) programmes and continues to teach this Short Course regularly.

And, Steve's name is right alongside many marketing successes including Villa Maria Wines, Simpson Grierson and Tullen Snips.
