So says Tim Paton, who in his previous role as a top selling real estate agent, saw the opportunity for vendors to not only spend money on property advertising, but to also allow budget for public relations. Luckily his wife Bridgette had ten years PR experience and together they started successfully turning a good idea into the foundations of a niche PR business. Tim Paton-Tapsell Tim Paton-Tapsell is the Client Services Director at V Marketing, a Mount Maunganui-based marketing agency. Tim started his marketing career as a qualitative market researcher for Focus Research working with high profile clients such as BNZ, Telecom and Frucor. He then moved to Lion Breweries where he worked as the brand manager for Lion Red and Corona. In his first year of real estate, Tim sold a phenomenal $35 million worth of property, securing him the highest ranked new agent position for Eves Realty in the Bay of Plenty.
