Getrude had come a long way since she was born in Zimbabwe. In a matter of weeks she is launching a book of her own journey “Born on the Continent”. “Selling snow to the Eskimos…” is one of the chapters where she shares her mother’s lessons of selling that allowed Getrude to survive and, finally, live the life of her dreams in Zimbabwe, UK, Europe and New Zealand. Getrude is coming to the Sales and Marketing breakfast to share the enthusiasm and wisdom of an artist, a company director, a founder of casting agency for people of colour, which provided the cast for “King Kong”, a mother of three and an authentic person.
