 Eric Rush has had a distinguished rugby career as Captain of the World Champion New Zealand Sevens Team and former All Black. Eric has balanced his highly successful rugby career with goals off the field. He completed a bachelor of Law Degree and was admitted to the bar as a Barrister. He worked for seven years in Corporate Law at Davenports before devoting himself full-time to his rugby career.He is one of the world’s foremost Sevens rugby players. He has represented New Zealand at Sevens for 11 years and captained them to a Gold Medal victory at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, the World Seven Title in 2000 and the Gold Medal at the 2002 Olympic Games in Manchester. At the same time, he has continued to pursue other business interests and investments that have prepared him and his family for their long-term future. Eric has strong leadership skills and is one of Australasia’s most highly rated speakers. He specialises in speaking on motivation, goal setting and leadership.
