I Did it My Way - Creating your own Rules
Bill Lomax has been in business for 26 years - he started out mowing lawns, moved on to renovating houses, ran a water blasting contracting business, became a spec builder, and then went back to university to study for his Bachelor of Commerce & Management. He became a real estate salesperson, and in 2003 started on his ambitious project to create the largest real estate company in Christchurch by the end of 2006.

So far, he’s discovered that the best way to get ahead is to create his own rules and live by them. Here’s real estate selling turned on its head - no photos of agents on business cards or in advertisements, his agents are expected to take two days off every week, and there are no territories.
