Speaker Geoff Wake/Carl Davies from Zenith

Should I Sack Them or Invest In Them?Zenith will demonstrate to you the real reasons some people fly while others crash even though they both have been shown the same "pathway to success." This is a must see if you manage and motivate sales people in your business. Carl and Geoff will introduce you to the applied science of axiology and show you how this is revolutionising our understanding of performance in the workplace. This presentation may finally answer many of those nagging questions you may have around sales performance.

The world over sales trainers and self development gurus have been saying " you have unlimited potential, you can do anything, etc etc." The exponents of this theory have been saying "I've been successful, just follow what I have done and you will too." Sadly this thinking is flawed and Zenith will show you why. For too long we have been trying to up the performance of sales people by teaching and training in the areas of skills, knowledge and techniques. This approach however is limited and only provides part of the solution. Zenith will provide you with insights into what's really happening with your sale people's performance and how it can be identified and developed.

Recent scientific advances have allowed us to not only identify the things that enable a sales person to be effective but measure these as well. We're not talking about the usual "sales guru's" take on "what makes us successful" we're talking about using a validated scientific instrument which accurately measures a sales person's capacity. The significance of finally being able to quantify these factors is enormous. No longer do you have to rely on "gut feel" to assess whether someone will "make it" or not. Using the right tools we can now predict performance with greater accuracy than ever before and we can assess whether a sales person has the potential to succeed or whether it's just more wishful thinking.

Geoff Wake and Carl Davies are directors of Zenith International Ltd. Both Carl and Geoff come from management backgrounds and have lead and managed people for the best part of their working lives for some of New Zealand's best know companies. Carl moved from management to specialize in recruitment for 4 years before becoming involved in people development 4 years ago. Geoff also left sales management to work in the area of training and development for corporates some 9 years ago. They created Zenith International in 2003 as a vehicle to provide performance solutions to New Zealand businesses by using the world's most advanced management tools. Zenith are part of an international faculty which have developed and used these tools around the globe. The technology and instruments they will present today are at the cutting edge of human performance development are used by many of the best known organisations in the world.
