 Paddy Sweeney loves figuring out new ways to generate new business and putting new spins on the old ideas.He used to earn his living writing marketing programs for small to medium size businesses. He regularly conducted a seminar program entitled, “What your Bank Manager doesn't know and your Accountant can't tell you - how to continually double your turnover.” The more he followed this path the more he realized that there was more money in using the ideas than there was in teaching them. He owns and operates several successful businesses: A rapidly growing carpet cleaning network with 31 Franchises in Australia called Stain Busters Cleaning Systems and three franchises in New Zealand called “You'll Say WOW Carpet Cleaning” Good Bastards Beer: Which promotes beer, other products and events mainly in the South Island. Delafon Press: A publishing company that publishes books and has them distributed to all major bookstores in New Zealand. As a writer he has four books to his credit and two more nearing completion. He has completed a screenplay and is putting together the production company to produce it. His most ambitious project to date is “The West Coast Brewing Company” a project that will eventually see a company-owned “Paddy Sweeney’s Pub” in each of the capital cities in New Zealand and Australia with franchised outlets in the smaller cities. He has recently conducted a comedy show called "Paddy Sweeney’s and the Good Bastards Show" It will be taken around New Zealand in 2005. He doesn't believe in borrowings, he does all his own marketing and PR. He is radical, he is different, he is Paddy Sweeney THE original Good Bastard. | |
